Profile

The establishment of LPPOM MUI is based on the Halal Product Guarantee Act. 33 years 2014, where required competent personnel to engage in the process of guaranteeing halal products. LSP LPPOM MUI established on April 5, 2016 is a Certification Institution that is independent and professional in conducting certification of competence in the field of guaranteeing halal products, as well as a referral of professionalism for workers in the halal industry to conduct professional certification.

LSP LPPOM MUI is responsible for developing Competency Standards, establishing Competency Certification Scheme and Competency Testing Site in halal product field, besides LSP also has technical and administrative responsibility for implementation, development and development of competency standard and competency certification.

In the process of implementing professional certification, LPPOM MUI LSP involves several stakeholders such as Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM), Flavor and Fragran Association of Indonesia (AFFI), and Indonesian Food and Beverage Entrepreneurs Association (GAPMMI). competence of personnel in the field of guaranteeing halal products.
